Fundamental Heat and Mass Transfer Research in the Development of New Heat Exchangers Concepts

ABSTRAKT

The paper represents authors view on the present development in research of heat and mass transfer related to the modern development of the heat exchangers. Special attention is devoted to the assessment of the potentiality of different mode of heat and mass transfer mechanism in relation to the new development of heat exchangers design. In this respect emphasize is given to those mechanism of heat and mass transfer which are in correlation with potential enhancement of the individual processes leading to increase its intensity and remove existing limitation in the design of modern heat exchanger surfaces. In particular attention is given to the future needs and demand for further development in heat and mass transfer.
