INFLUENCE OF ANNEALING TEMPERATURE ON THE STRUCTURE AND PHASE COMPOSITION OF T15K6 HARD ALLOY WITH TITANIUM COATING AFTER TREATMENT BY INTENSE PULSED ELECTRON BEAMS
ABSTRAKT
In the present work we investigated the influence of air annealing temperature on the structural and phase states, oxidation resistance of T15K6 hard alloy surface layers with Ti coating after intense pulsed irradiation with electron beams B with an energy density of 40, 60, and 80 J/cm2 and pulse duration of 100, 150, and 200 µs. It has been found that samples irradiation leads to phase transformations, namely, to the formation of (Ti, W) and tungsten-enriched (Ti, W)C solid solutions. It is shown that annealing of irradiated samples causes precipitation of WO3, CoWO4, and TiO2 oxide phases. A hard alloy sample irradiated by IPEB with the energy density 40 J/cm2 and pulse duration 100 µs is characterized by high oxidation resistance at a temperature of 800°C.
