ABSTRAKT
The influence of turbulence intensity and asymmetry factor of wind velocity on estimation of power performance at wind turbine testing following procedure of an International Standard IEC 61400-12 is shown in the present paper. The values of errors are estimated by ignoring of dispersion and asymmetry in the Standard. Instead of an averaged wind velocity it is proposed to use a driven wind velocity. It is shown which errors can take place at applying the Rayleigh function of distribution when talking about annual energy production. To avoid this it is proposed to use real long-term distribution of wind at local place.
