ABSTRAKT
There are many ways to perform an electrodiagnostic study for the evaluation of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). The purpose of this manuscript is to review studies of these different methods; provide a history of CTS; discuss patient history, anatomy, and physical examination findings; explore the advantages and disadvantages of the various electrodiagnostic techniques; and discuss the conservative and surgical treatment of CTS with an emphasis on the evaluation of electrodiagnostic techniques.
