It is assumed that the duct wall has a uniform temperature, i.e., the T boundary condition in the terminology of Kays and Crawford [Convective Heat and Mass Transfer, McGraw-Hill, Inc., 1993]. The Darcy flow model is applied. Based on a theoretical analysis, expressions are obtained for the fully developed temperature distribution, the Nusselt number, and the local entropy generation rate in terms of its two components, namely, heat transfer irreversibility and fluid flow irreversibility. Also area-weighted average of the local entropy generation is obtained. PB Begell House LK https://www.dl.begellhouse.com/journals/46784ef93dddff27,622a96484c95e9c8,0ffb568129559707.html
