One of the reasons for this increase may be the consumption of products that are grown in greenhouses with the intensive use of pesticides. For this reason, this study was carried out in Antalya, where the most intensive greenhouse cultivation is performed in Turkey. This study investigated the relationship between cancer types and total area of the agricultural field where the greenhouse activities were performed. Results of this study showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the increased incidence of multiple myeloma, acute lymphocytic leukemia, and malignant melanoma with an increase in the total area of agricultural field.
