Taking into account original data and those available in literature, 145 species and intraspecific taxa of macrophytic algae from three divisions (Rhodophyta − 73, Heterokontophyta − 36, and Chlorophyta − 36) were observed in fouling and epizoon floras. Among them, nine species were new for benthic flora of the studied region. The relationship of the dominating algae in the examined floras is established to show differences among the typical benthic floras of the region. As to quantity of species, brown and green algae predominated in fouling of the constructions having no direct contact with the bottom. The predominance of Rhodophyta is peculiar to floras of epizoon and fouling of constructions directly contacted with the bottom. Hydrodynamic peculiarities of biotopes are shown to significantly affect the formation of algal communities. %8 2011-02-25
