The process of formation of the separation region is considered in the framework of the nonstationary Navier-Stokes equations. A detailed picture of the gas flow in this region with a secondary separation is obtained. The phenomenon of initiation of large-scale pressure pulsations on a wall in the separation zone in front of the incidence point of the shock wave is explained. %8 2013-08-13
