The results show that the maximum absorption time, tmax, is proportional to the square of the droplet radius and the reciprocal of the effective diffusivity, respectively. Decreasing droplet radius or increasing effective diffusivity of ammonia solution can improve the absorbtion rate. Increasing the absorbtion time can increase the absorption mass, MA, but increasing the absorption time will not significantly improve MA after t0/tmax exceeds 0.6. This investigation offers a better understanding of the absorption process occurring in thermally driven absorption refrigeration systems. %8 2013-08-14
