The present work concerns an experimental investigation of thermal performance of Parabolic Trough Collector (PTC) for three different mass flow rates (0.0547 kg/s, 0.0597 kg/s and 0.0647 kg/s). The experiment is carried out using water as the heat transfer fluid and the Reynolds number ranges from 2210.667 to 4486.996. Useful heat gain, Nusselt number and instantaneous efficiency are observed comparatively higher for the mass flow rate of 0.0647 kg/s. Also, the thermal performance of the PTC is investigated according to the ASHRAE standard 93 (1986) for the mass flow rate of 0.0547 kg/s.
