ABSTRAKT

This paper presents an analysis of the influences of natural gas and mixed gas on the frequency characteristics of contact temperature sensors in dynamic processes, in which temperature is one of the characteristic parameters for the control and regulation of dynamic processes. The analysis was performed with regard to the frequency characteristics of the above-mentioned type of temperature sensors in dynamic processes with air, which is the most commonly used gas in dynamic experimental devices. For this reason, identification of the frequency characteristics of contact temperature sensors and testing of the dynamic characteristics of such sensors were performed in an experimental device containing air.
The frequency characteristics of the tested temperature sensors in natural and mixed gas were calculated using a computational calibration model. The obtained results allow us to analyse and compare the dynamic properties of temperature sensors which are very important for system control and regulation. Because supply systems involve real gas under different pressure and velocity conditions such dynamic properties of temperature sensors could not be determined experimentally, and the method used seems to be the best procedure for evaluation.
