DOUBLE DIFFUSIVE NATURAL CONVECTION IN ENCLOSURES WITH HEAT AND MASS DIFFUSIVE WALLS
ABSTRAKT
The conjugated heat and mass transfer problem, resulting from the double diffusive natural convection in a vertical stack of vertical enclosures, with (all) heat and mass diffusive walls, is solved numerically. It is used the well-established control volume finite difference method. Special emphasis is devoted to the post-numerical solution of the heat and mass functions' conjugated problem, in order to obtain the heat and mass lines. Taking the heat and mass functions as conserved variables, the same procedures and routines can be used for all the variables, including the harmonic mean practice for the diffusion coefficients at the fluid-solid interfaces. A short set of results is presented for the situation of a stack of square enclosures filled with moist air.
