ABSTRAKT
In the branch of reactor safety research GKSS performs presure suppression experiments in a large scale. In these PSS experiments a LOCA (Loss Of Coolant Accident) is simulated by discharging steam from a vessel into the test section. Within these experiments the determination of the mass flow in the discharge line by means of a drag-body type sensor is of special importance. In this paper the mass flow measurements including the techniques, the evaluation and results are discribed.
