Green's Functions for Cylindrical Structures with a Longitudinally-Inhomogeneous Filling

ABSTRACT

Electric and magnetic Green functions are constructed for vectorial Hertz potentials in cylindrical structures (including rectangular) with a longitudinally-inhomogeneous filling. Infinite and semi-infinite structures and resonant cavities (with perfectly conducting plane end-face boundaries) are analyzed for the case of excitation by longitudinal external currents. Explicit forms of Green's functions are given for dual-and triple-layered, longitudinally nonuniform structure fillings.
