Blind Detection in MIMO-OFDM Systems using Higher Order Statistics

ABSTRACT

This paper propose a multiuser detection method in MIMO-OFDM systems using a blind detection scheme based in high order statistics of received signal. Introducing linear space-time block coding in the transmitter, the channel can be identified based on simple cross-correlation operations applied to successive received signal blocks. Simulations results show that proposed scheme does not increase the transmitted power and provides multipath diversity and bandwidth efficiency.
