The Peculiarities of Using a Quasi-Continuous Sounding Radio Signals in Radioacoustical Systems

ABSTRACT

It is shown that in radioacoustical atmospheric-sounding system (RAS) a continuous reflected radio signal is produced when adjusting the parameters of pulse acoustical radiation and quasi-continuous reflected radio-frequency radiation. The signal combination under study makes it easy to avoid the indetermination zones on a sounding path and to conduct measurements at short ranges with a single radio antenna.
