ABSTRACT
Main results of efficiency assessment of joint search and detection of objects are analyzed. In view of differential characteristics of Bayesian criterion of minimum of mean risk we formulate a weight criterion of optimality of detection in elementary cell of search zone. The weight criterion of optimality of object detection under simultaneous optimization of search and detection in the instant zone of vision is improved. An expression for the likelihood ratio in the instant visual field is obtained. An improved deciding rule of making a two-alternative decision in joint search and detection of objects is formulated.
