ABSTRACT

The consequences of intensive influx of finely dispersed suspended matter from the tail reservoir of the Karamken Mining Complex and its distribution over the main riverbed of the salmon river are discussed in the paper. An assessment of the response of the fauna to the accident and prediction of possible consequences were made.
