Abstract

Mixed conductive convective radiative heat transfer modes in a porous medium is a difficult task implying numerical solutions of phenomenological equations even for the monodimensional case. Often simplified boundary conditions are used, that are a rough estimation of real conditions associated with practical technological or experimental configuration [1, 2] (particularly in solar energy conversion or dynamic insulation systems).
The present paper develops an adimensional analytical solution for the solid and fluid temperatures estimation in the monodimensional case These expressions allow us to perform immediately a sensitivity analysis for this two phases transfer model in function of geometric and physical solid phase parameters, of flowing and physical properties of fluid phase, and of boundary conditions.
