ABSTRACT

Many of the basic phenomena in blast furnace (BF) have gradually been clearified through investigations with experimental and theoretical scheme and through analyses of actual operations. It is, therefore, very important to summarize them into mathematical simulation models and to apply them to the better understanding and the improvements of BF operations.
Although many trials were made on this problem (1)-(6), far more should be made with the electronic computer of bigger capacity and with the increases of newer and more precise informations about the phenomena in BF.
Authors have made a mathematical simulation model for the study of dynamic behaviours to the step changes in blast and charge parameters of BF operations but also the dynamic behaviours of BF in the relay (the pause),the blow-in and the shut-down .
