Resonance Phenomena in Orthogonal Waveguide Junction with Anisotropic Filling

SINOPSIS

Rigorous electrodynamics calculation is presented of the for the orthogonal waveguide junction of E- and H-types filled an anisotropic dielectric. An algorithm is developed and the numerical analysis is carried out of the resonance and energy characteristics of the oscillations. The physics of the resonance phenomena is investigated. The paper continues the set of works on the resonance phenomena in various waveguide extensions and junctions [1-5]. Of particular interest is the determination of the electric characteristics of anisotropic dielectrics, since the high-quality dielectric materials now in use are anisotropic crystals.
