MODEL SYNTHESIS OF ABSORBING COATINGS INCLUDING GRATING DISPERSIVE ELEMENTS. ANALYTICAL GROUNDS
SINOPSIS
A generalized scattering matrix method is applied for clarifying the conditions, at which efficient resonant energy absorption is possible in the layered structures including the diffraction gratings. One of the simplest cases when a plane Ε -polarized wave is incident upon the layer of dielectric coating a metal diffraction grating is considered in detail. The amplitude phase correlations are obtained, performance of which provides for maximal resonant absorption of the supplied power. It is demonstrated in what way the above correlations have to be considered while setting the problem of synthesis of periodic structures − the functionally important elements of efficiently absorbing coatings.
