SINOPSIS

In this paper the new composite particles model of the Doppler-polarimetric meteorological radar signal is proposed and studied. Model involves new wetness and iciness parameters and allows simulating the mixed microstructure of clouds and precipitation with the possibility to tune the melting stage and set the mass density of dry sub-volume. The model is useful for the Doppler-polarimetric meteorological radar signal analysis and can be used to improve radar meteorological data interpretation.
