Experimental Estimation and Application of the Matrix of Radiators Mutual Coupling in PAA

SINOPSIS

A method for experimental estimation of the matrix of radiators mutual coupling (RMC) in PAA is proposed. There is shown the possibility, when using the information about RMC, to algorithmically compensate deteriorations of the amplitude-phase distribution (APD) introduced by RMC at beam-scanning, as well as to reconstruct the scattering matrix and the self and mutual resistances matrices, which characterize PAA as the microwave multiport.
