A MODEL OF A FIBER-OPTICAL BASEBAND TRANSMISSION PATH WITH WAVELENGTH-DIVISION MULTIPLEXING AND FIBER-OPTICAL AMPLIFIERS
SINOPSIS
A new model of a fiber-optical baseband transmission path with linear fiber-optical amplifiers, taking into account the dominant effect of the stimulated Raman scattering on the optical signal parameters, is proposed. An application of the developed model in the problem of optimization of optical component parameters is discussed.
