SINOPSIS

The paper presents the results of experimental research of quasi-optical solid-state oscillators (SSO) with 8-millimeter (8-mm) band Gunn diodes using a stabilizing ellipsotoric open resonator (ETOR). The prospect of applying such devices for improving the output parameters of solid-state sources of radiation within the millimeter-wave bandwidth has been demonstrated.
