SINOPSIS

Modification of the method of aperture synthesizing is proposed. The modification allows to extend the methods applicability to the processing of the obtained while sounding the conducting media. The modification of the time-domain pulse compressing filter enables one to take into account the probing pulse shape distortion in the medium and thus to increase the depth resolution of a radar system. The practical applicability of the method proposed is illustrated with the results of the field experiments.
