NON-IONIZING ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION AND ECOLOGY
SINOPSIS
The present-day ecological situation impacted by natural and man-made electromagnetic radiation (EMR) sources and their characteristics is outlined. The medico-biological, hygienic and ecological aspects of e.m. radiation effects both upon human beings and the ecosystem as a whole are discussed. The results of experimental studies into the EMR effects upon medico-biological objects, which have been made at the Institute of plasma electronics and novel acceleration methods, are presented. The above Institute is associated with the National Scientific Center the Kharkov Physical Technological Institute.
