Mode Conversion in Diffractionally Coupled Open Resonators

SINOPSIS

A mathematical model is developed for a class of diffractionally coupled open resonators. An algorithm has been constructed for calculating the eigenfrequencies of such structures, and their variation with the system geometry analyzed in the vicinity of the Morse critical points of the dispersion relations.
