Creation of a Calibration Test Site of Subsatellite Support

SINOPSIS

The problems of post launch calibration of space optical equipment, using the control calibration test site (CTS) for the first time being formed in Ukraine in the area of National Space Center, are formulated and solved at the first stage. By the results of ground-based measurements, synchronous with satellite imagery, of spectral reflectance characteristics of the test objects (TO), the presentation catalog and GIS database, including vector layers of polygonal TO, satellite images of the "Quick Bird-2" and "Sich-2" space systems and digital model of CTS territory, are created. The CTS infrastructure is defined and the instruments with which test site sections should be equipped, both the ones available for investigators, and the ones, used at LANDNET test sites of the CEOS committee, are analyzed.
