SINOPSIS
The technique for analyzing images of unsmooth geophysical fields observed by aerospace methods is given. The technique provides the description of distributions of controlled physical quantities by statistical fractals, definition of scale-invariant characteristics and information divergences of fields of multifractal structure. An example of analysis of temperature field in developing peat fires is given.
PALABRAS CLAVE: images of unsmooth geophysical fields, aerospace method, statistical fractals, information divergence, development of peat fire.
