SINOPSIS

We use the sub-domains method to generate simplified dynamic models of processes with distributed parameters. Using digitization, we find the simple and effective models of a high order which are necessary in optimal control problems. The proposed method transforms partial differential equations into a set of ordinary differential equations with time as an independent variable. The method is also extended for nonlinear processes.
