SINOPSIS

The problem of signal detection with a single detecting unit in a multi-channel system is analyzed with application of the semi-Markov process theory. A detecting unit is used for detection, tracking and recognition of a required signal. The optimal migration strategy for a detecting unit in a multi-channel system is designed and the respective estimate for the performance is calculated.
