SINOPSIS
Vegetation of 14 urban Masurian lakes was investigated. The method of macrophytoindication based on the structural and spatial analysis of vegetation of the littoral zone of the studied lakes made it possible to assess the extent of changes in their ecosystems in response to natural succession and anthropic load. It has been found that the value of phytocenotic diversity is the main parameter indicative of natural succession, whereas the index of synanthropization is indicative of anthropic changes in vegetation. The studied lakes were classified using the method of macrophytoindication.
