Zooperiphyton Dynamics on the Experimental Substrata in the Near-Dam Section of the Kiev Reservoir

Results of the study of the species composition, dynamics, and quantitative indices of zooperiphyton development on the experimental substrata made of various materials, including those with polymer coat of original composition, are given in the paper. Data on the taxonomic richness and abundance of zooperiphyton occurring in the lower section of the Kiev Reservoir (the Dnieper River) are presented. The problems dealt with fouling control are discussed.
