Dynamics of the Higher Aquatic Vegetation of Water Bodies of the Danube Kiliya Delta under Anthropogenic Impact

SINOPSIS

Changes of the floristic and cenotic composition of higher aquatic vegetation of the Danube outer delta bays have been considered with regard of drop of the Danube Kiliya arm flow and establishment the protected regime in the sea part of Kiliya delta. In order to preserve species and landscape diversity of bays and their status of fattening area for young fishes we propose to recover some types of traditional economic activities in the reserve zone or to reconsider the existent zones of the Danube Biosphere Reserve.
