SINOPSIS
The magnesium requirement of the alga Oscillatoria Vauch. is strongly determined of each concrete density of light flow, and increase with down-fall of light intensity within the interval 275−0 μE/m2·sec−1. The highest values of growth and biomass are observed at the highest values of light intensity and C:Mg ratio in nutrient solution. The increasing of algae magnesium requirements in the interval 275−26 μE/m2·sec−1 is connected with need of dark respiration and photosynthesis stimulation at down-fall of light flow.
