SINOPSIS
Dynamics of the content of iodine in waters of the Dnieper reservoirs were studied depending on some physical and chemical indices of water, including dissolved oxygen, water mineralization, pH, and organic matter. It has been found that the vital activity of phytoplankton affects the concentration of iodine in water. Relationship was established between the concentration of iodine and oxidative-reductive conditions of the aquatic environment.
