SINOPSIS
Results of the study of the content of heavy metals ions in the organism of some species of fishes of small rivers of the Western Podolye are given in the paper. The content of iron, cobalt, manganese, zinc, and copper was determined in the liver, muscles, and gills of Cyprinus carpio L., Carassius auratus L., Perca fluviatilis L., and Exox lucius L. The content of heavy metals ions in the organism of hydrobionts was investigated depending on the environmental conditions.
