Estimation of Toxicity of Glyphosate-Based Herbicides by Biotesting Method Using Cladocera

Toxicity of herbicides Fakel, Glyphos, Roundup, Sangle, Corphosate, VulkanVulkan (all based on the 48% isopropilamine salt of glyphosate as the active ingredient) was investigated in acute experiments. It has been shown that LC50 (120 hours) of the herbicides listed above, except Vulkan, for D. magna are within the range of 1.75−6.75 mg/dm3, and LC100 (120 hours) for C affinis was 2.13−5.25 mg/dm3. The 120-hour LC50 of Vulkan for D. magna and were 82.5 mg/dm3 and 49.91 mg/dm3, respectively.
