SINOPSIS
Positive correlation was stated between the reed (Phragmites australis) biomass and nutrients (N, P) concentration in water. In the lakes of the Ukrainian Polissia growth of the trophic status leads to growth of the productional characteristics of the reed. Values of its phytomass in the water bodies of different trophic status were determined.
