Calculation of the Hydrodynamics of Multiphase Heterogeneous Media in a Centrifugal Field
SINOPSIS
A mathematical model of the motion of a multiphase heterogeneous medium over the surface of rotating extension pieces has been developed. The phenomena of lamination and thickening of the medium as well as the presence of a hydrodynamic starting length of flow are considered. The conservation equations of the mechanics of heterogeneous media are solved by the method of the surfaces of equal flow rates. The results of numerical calculations of flows over the inner surface of a rotating conical rotor are given.
