Spatial Modeling of Heat Discharge into Water Systems

SINOPSIS

The methodology of spatial modeling of heat discharge into water systems is presented. It includes calculation of the dynamics of the fields of velocities pressures, and temperatures in gas and liquid media, the dynamics of the temperature field in a solid medium, the processes of heat and mass transfer at the phase interface. Based on the methodology suggested, the software package SPACEMORPH_THERMO has been developed. Test experiments on application of this package included modeling of spatial (nonstationary three-dimensional) technogenic heat discharges into both flowing and nonflow water systems are discussed.
