The Impact Factor measures the average number of citations received in a particular year by papers published in the journal during the two preceding years. 2017 Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics, 2018) IF: 0.4 The Immediacy Index is the average number of times an article is cited in the year it is published. The journal Immediacy Index indicates how quickly articles in a journal are cited. Immediacy Index: 0.1 The Eigenfactor score, developed by Jevin West and Carl Bergstrom at the University of Washington, is a rating of the total importance of a scientific journal. Journals are rated according to the number of incoming citations, with citations from highly ranked journals weighted to make a larger contribution to the eigenfactor than those from poorly ranked journals. Eigenfactor: 0.00005 The Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) is a single measurement of the field-normalized citation impact of journals in the Web of Science Core Collection across disciplines. The key words here are that the metric is normalized and cross-disciplinary. JCI: 0.07 SJR: 0.198 SNIP: 0.48 CiteScore™:: 1.1 H-Index: 20

SINOPSIS

A Ba0.2Sr0.8Co0.8Fe0.2O3−δ (BSCF) perovskite-type oxide with mixed electronic and oxygen ionic conductivity at high temperatures was used as an oxygen permeable membrane. Oxygen permeation flux of the membranes was determined at different temperatures, feed flow rates and helium flow rates between 650°C and 950°C, 100 and 200 cm3/min and 40 and 80 cm3/min, respectively. It was found out that increasing helium flow rate increases oxygen permeation flux of the membranes and this is due to the fact that oxygen partial pressure decreases in the permeate side with increasing helium flow rate. However, it was also found that oxygen permeation flux can also be affected by air flow rate in the feed side. At air flow rates higher than 150 cm3/min, sensitivity of oxygen permeation flux is much less than that at lower air flow rates. Although x-ray diffraction (XRD) and x-ray disperse spectroscopy (EDS) showed that the surface of the BSCF membrane exposed to air for 75 h is almost similar to the surface of the fresh membrane in composition and structure, there are differences between the fresh membrane surface and the surface exposed to helium. Scanning electron microscopy SEM images of the used membrane surfaces exposed to air and helium were also compared with the fresh membrane.
