SINOPSIS

This work is dedicated to the experimental study of methane steam reforming using a rotating atmospheric discharge. The conversion efficiency is described by means of the following parameters: conversion rate of methane, energy cost for the conversion of methane and the production cost energy of hydrogen. Experiments clearly demonstrated the ability of rotating discharges to accelerate chemical reactions at low temperatures.
