INFLUENCE OF MICROFLORA ON THE METABOLIC PROPERTIES OF IONITES AND CORROSION OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT STRUCTURAL MATERIALS

SINOPSIS

Research data of bacterial contamination of nuclear power plants' water purification systems is provided. Active strains of microorganisms are isolated from ion-exchange filters, capable of causing the microbiological destruction of ionites and corrosion of nuclear power plants' structural materials. The availability of 15-year species and varieties of corrosive bacteria and microscopic fungi associations are identified. Kinetic characteristics of biological corrosion of structural steels of the second circuit in the technological environment are analyzed. The influence of microorganisms on the corrosive behavior in steel 08Kh18N10T and steel-20, the protected biocide connection, is evaluated.
