SINOPSIS
The paper shortly recapitulates the principle of the new promising method SBRA (Simulation Based Reliability Assessment). This method is used to determine the probability of failure (or of reaching any arbitrary limit state of a structure) taking into account the inevitable uncertainties in input values of the design (i.e., their probabilistic character, quantified by histograms). Some examples of application of the SBRA method to the problems of wind engineering are demonstrated.
