Significant changes were registered in the complex of subdominant species. The role of Cyanophyta belonging to facultative thermophils decreased abruptly. The species composition of blue-green algae and their taxonomic structure at the level of the leading families and genera changed. After the accident, the number of species of Cyanophyta in the cooling pond sharply decreased from 84 to 43.
