T1 Feeding and Trophic Relations of Three Mass Demersal Fishes in the Coastal Zone of the Zmeiniy Island (2003-2007) JF Hydrobiological Journal JO HYD YR 2011 FD 2011-12-07 VO 47 IS 6 SP 49 OP 62 K1 the Zmeiniy Island K1 feeding spectra K1 trophic relations K1 index of relative importance. AB Trophic spectra of three mass demersal fishes - the shore rockling, black scorpionfish and round goby - in the coastal zone of the Zmeiniy Island over 2003-2009 were presented. Indexes of relative importance, selectivity and filling of intestine were determined. It was revealed that intensity of feeding of all three species increased after their spawning. Trophic spectra of the shore rockling and scorpion fish have overlapped because of consuming of mass crustaceans. Strength of food relations between mass species of fishes of deep water area of the island decreased due to differences in quantity and peculiarities of distribution of fishes and their feeding objects.
