For accomplishing the previous studies on application of heat transfer enhancement using tube inserts that have been done by the authors, in this paper, the comparison between the fan power requirement of plain and enhanced air coolers for achieving the optimized air side heat transfer coefficient will be presented. The mentioned factors will affect the total cost of design of an air cooler. %8 2007-10-17
